Most first conversations with clients are really about one question: where does the money go? So for this one project we agreed to publish the numbers, with the client's permission and their name kept off it.
Modular work — kitchen, wardrobes, crockery unit — was 46% of the total. Civil and finishes (false ceiling, painting, flooring touch-ups) took another 28%. Lighting and electrical came to 11%, and the remaining 15% covered furniture, soft furnishings and project management.
The one line that surprises most people is false ceiling — a full-home false ceiling with cove lighting typically runs ₹85-110 per sq ft depending on how much of it is curved versus straight runs.
We publish a full BOQ before asking for a booking advance on every project, for exactly this reason — a quote you can't itemise is a quote you can't trust.
This post is about a real project — behind the scenes on instagram for the walkthrough.
